Artist Statement & Narrative
Captured during autumn in the high valleys, this image places native bisons against a backdrop of golden aspen trees. It serves as a visual metaphor: asserting ownership and presence in spaces we are often made to feel out of place, declaring: 'Yea we like them, but not like that. We see them from here.'
